To the uninitiated, here’s a glimpse of what 3D printing can do: Last year, scientists were able to successfully implant vein segments into a living monkey, which is considered a huge leap towards mass printing of human organs for a transplant.

In addition, scientists have also printed arteries, liver tissues, and bones. With continuous research, we can only look forward to bigger things for 3D printing 2022. An entire human organ, perhaps?
